The Coalition of Unpaid Nurses and Midwives of Ghana has issued a resounding commendation to Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh for his decisive intervention in resolving a protracted period of unpaid salaries for health professionals across the country. More than 99 per cent of the 13,500 affected personnel have now received their compensation, a significant milestone following sustained collaboration between the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance. This remarkable achievement, spearheaded by President Stephen Kwadwo Takyia, underscores a commitment to safeguarding the livelihoods of dedicated healthcare workers.
