The Oti Region of Ghana is gearing up for crucial internal elections, with delegates being urged to select individuals capable of revitalizing the NPP’s electoral standing and securing victory in the 2028 general elections, specifically with a focus on the presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. Engineer Edem Gomashi, Second Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Buem-Jasikan Constituency, delivered this crucial message ahead of the party’s regional internal elections, emphasizing the imperative of unity and effective leadership.
Mr. Gomashi underscored the party’s strategic objective: to regain power and ultimately secure victory for Dr. Bawumia’s presidential bid. He highlighted the need to address past shortcomings in securing parliamentary representation within the Oti Region, urging delegates to prioritize the selection of candidates who possess the capacity to bolster the party’s grassroots infrastructure.
