The Tupac Shakur estate is currently embroiled in a protracted legal battle with Daz Dillinger, alleging that Dillinger stole over $1 million worth of archival material from Tupac’s All Eyez On Me catalog. This development follows a recent exclusive report from AllHipHop detailing the estate’s response to Dillinger’s lawsuit, claiming unpaid royalties for collaborations like ‘Ambitionz Az A Ridah,’ ‘I Ain’t Mad At Cha,’ and ‘Skandalouz,’ totaling over $91,000 from Amaru Entertainment in October 2024.

The estate’s assertion centers on the claim that Dillinger did not receive the full compensation for these collaborations, citing missing paperwork. Amaru Entertainment, in their defense, admitted to paying Dillinger without detailed royalty statements, but maintained that the rapper’s old Death Row deals did not entitle them to the payout in the first place.

According to the estate’s legal strategy, Tupac’s old Death Row deals did not grant Dillinger the right to receive the payments alleged. The estate further indicated that the rapper’s deceased recording artist walls of his handwritten lyrics, and at least 40 studio reels of performances, were kept by the estate, and that Dillinger subsequently sold some of these items, representing a potential loss of over one million dollars. The estate is seeking a jury trial to determine ownership of these elements and the amount owed to them.

This situation has been ongoing for over three decades, with the estate repeatedly referencing the ‘Pac’s murder trial’ and the legal battle’s impact on the legacy of the late rapper. The estate has repeatedly stated that they want a jury trial to determine who still owes some cash. The court is currently awaiting a resolution to this complex dispute, with the estate’s ultimate goal being a resolution to determine who owns these elements and who still owes some cash. The estate’s legal team, led by [Attorney Name], is actively pursuing a trial to resolve this matter, as detailed in the linked article about the ‘Pac’s murder trial.’” , #
