Chelsea have officially announced the signing of striker Danny Welbeck from Brighton & Hove Albion.
Welbeck, 35, has officially joined the club, effective as of summer 2023. His deal is a two-year contract, marking a significant shift in Chelsea’s transfer strategy, moving away from predominantly younger player signings.
Prior to joining Chelsea, Welbeck spent time at various clubs including Watford, Aston Villa, and Atalanta.
