Bright Asadu, Chief Executive Officer of BAM Auto Care and nephew of the Wioso Hene, Nana Ofori, has been enstooled as the new Wioso Mawere Hene, a significant honor recognizing his considerable contribution to the community and his dedication to the welfare of its people. This momentous ceremony took place from Thursday, August 13 to Sunday, August 16, 2026, within the vibrant landscape of the Ashanti Region of Ghana-West Africa. The process began with a lavish ceremony at the Wioso Palace, where Asadu was formally presented to the esteemed royals gathered for the occasion. The ceremony was meticulously planned, incorporating traditional leadership, royal representatives, youth, and residents of Wioso, reflecting the deep-rooted traditions of the land. The enstoolment process commenced with a ceremonial powder application and the handing of the ceremonial sword, symbolizing his acceptance of his new role and responsibilities.
The royal elders and high chiefs then offered their perspectives on Asadu’s suitability for the position, emphasizing the importance of respecting traditional customs and maintaining a steadfast commitment to the community’s well-being. Following the formal acceptance, Asadu was draped in traditional attire, including a colorful powder application and the symbolic act of being handed the ceremonial sword.
