Nous Research has announced a $90 million Series B funding round led by Robot Ventures, solidifying its valuation at $1.5 billion. The round included significant backing from Nvidia, Union Square Ventures, Menlo Ventures, Samsung, and 1789 Capital, with Donald Trump Jr. joining as a partner. The startup, developing the open-source Hermes agent, has already cloned over 24 million times, driving approximately 2.5% of global AI token usage. The new capital will be used to launch ‘Hermes for Businesses,’ enabling companies to deploy customized AI agents for multi-step workflows while maintaining data security. Nous Research anticipates passing $100 million before the end of 2026, according to preliminary estimates.
