US President’s adviser for Arab and African affairs Massad Boulos met with Sudanese General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan on October 4 amid diplomatic efforts to end the war in Sudan.
The meeting took place during a lunch hosted by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on the sidelines of an African Union coordination meeting. It became known from a social media post. As The Hindu reports, the outlet describes the meeting as rare.
