The Secretary-Executive of the Mayor’s Office of Cotonou, Anges Paterne Amoussouga, resigned. The information was confirmed by the Mayor’s Office statement, signed by the Mayor’s Cabinet, Stanislas Miakpon Hounkanlin. It stems from the document that the SE presented her resignation by a letter dated September 30, 2026, for personal reasons. Facts Divers Debates Culture Benin According to the communiqué, Anges Paterne Amoussouga will continue to exercise her functions until the effective cessation of her mandate, in order to ensure the transition. She will also need to submit, in the foreseen timeframe, the reports and documents expected.
Some of these dossiers will be subject to supervision checks. The Secretary-Executive will also prepare the passing dossier, which is scheduled for October 30, 2026.
