The Ghana Air Force (GAF) has officially concluded its six-month intensive training program for Recruit Course 1/2026, successfully graduating 293 recruits following a rigorous military exercise at the Air Force Recruit Training School, Air Force Base Takoradi. According to a GAF press release, the Passing Out Parade, held on September 25, 2026, formally acknowledged the completion of 26 weeks of fundamental military training, culminating in the recruits’ formal integration into the Ghana Armed Forces after completing the Armed Forces Oath. The Best in Drill award went to Airman Yeboah Samuel Amofa, while Recruit Arthur Michael emerged as Best in Tactics, and Recruit Tonyie Sabien was recognized as Best in Weapons Training. In physical training, Recruit Dauda Iddrisu and Recruit Salisu Eunice were honored as Best in Physical Training in the male and female categories, respectively. The Best in Academics award and the Chief of the Air Staff Award for Best Recruit went to Recruit Ampadu Christabel Asantewaa. The awardees received plaques and other prizes sponsored by Services Integrity Savings and Loans, signifying the significant investment in the development of Ghana’s military personnel.
