The Ghana Police Service has issued a statement assuring applicants participating in the 2025/2026 recruitment exercise that those not yet invited to the next stage remain under consideration.

In a statement released on Saturday, August 1, 2025, the Service clarifies that the recruitment process is progressing according to the established schedule, with successful applicants being invited in batches to designated centers across the country for the validation of their credentials.

According to the Police, the validation exercise is a critical stage designed to verify the authenticity of applicants’ academic certificates, examination results, and supporting documents submitted during the application process. This verification process aims to ensure the integrity of the recruitment process.

The Service emphasized that the first batch of successful applicants has already been invited and is currently undergoing validation. However, it clarifies that applicants who successfully completed the medical examination and were declared medically fit but have not yet received invitations for credential validation should not be considered unsuccessful. Instead, the Police explained that such applicants remain in the recruitment pool and will be invited in subsequent batches as the exercise progresses.

“The Ghana Police Service urges all such applicants to remain patient and be rest assured that the recruitment process will continue in batches until 2028 in line with the recruitment schedule,” the statement stated. This schedule is determined by the Ghana Boundary Commission, which has completed a five-day operational assessment.

The Service further cautioned applicants against relying on misinformation circulating about the recruitment exercise, stressing that only official communication from the Ghana Police Service should be trusted. They also warned applicants to refrain from paying money to individuals claiming they can facilitate recruitment into the Service, emphasizing that such practices are unacceptable and violate established protocols.

The Police reiterated their commitment to conducting a transparent, fair, and merit-based recruitment process and encouraged applicants to remain patient as the exercise continues in accordance with the approved recruitment schedule. The Commission concludes its five-day operational assessment in…
