CENTCOM commander Admiral Brad Cooper said that the US military is focused on this mission and will act quickly against vessels that attempt to break the blockade.
The command also claims that US forces have destroyed 13 commercial vessels over the past 12 weeks. According to CENTCOM, these vessels either violated the blockade or were connected to the multibillion-dollar shadow network of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
