US Central Command (CENTCOM) said that US forces redirected a commercial vessel in the Middle East region on Monday. According to Anadolu Agency, CENTCOM described it as the 130th vessel intercepted as part of the maritime blockade against Iran.

According to CENTCOM, since the operation resumed on July 14, US forces have redirected 130 commercial vessels. Three vessels that, according to the command, refused to comply with the requirements were disabled.

More current news is available on the UA.News Telegram channel Telegram.

CENTCOM commander Admiral Brad Cooper said that the US military is focused on this mission and will act quickly against vessels that attempt to break the blockade.

The command also claims that US forces have destroyed 13 commercial vessels over the past 12 weeks. According to CENTCOM, these vessels either violated the blockade or were connected to the multibillion-dollar shadow network of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
