Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has urged the NPP’s newly elected national executives to ensure no talent is left out of the 2028 campaign. He stated that the party must build an inclusive system that brings together the skills and capabilities of its members to return to power. Bawumia emphasized that the party’s 2028 campaign must consider all members of the party. He stressed that no talent should be left out in the campaign. His call follows the election of the party’s new national executives in Kumasi on Saturday, October 3, as part of the NPP’s reorganisation ahead of the 2028 presidential election. Dr Bawumia pledged his support to the new leadership and expressed confidence in its ability to lead the party into the next election. He said the new executives should work to harness the talents available across the party. Dr Bawumia said the election was conducted in an atmosphere of peace and transparency and its outcome reflected the wishes of the party’s delegates. Dr Bawumia said the expectation of the NPP’s rank and file was for the John Boadu-led executive to commence preparations for the 2028 election. The new executives are expected to lead the party’s organizational activities and mobilisation efforts as the NPP begins its preparations for the next general election.
