Arsenal teenager Max Dowman was sent off while playing for England's Under-19s on Friday in a behind-closed-doors game.
Dowman, 16, is already a regular in Arsenal's first team and has a Premier League winners' medal following the Gunners' success last season.
Despite only doing his GCSEs in the summer, the teenager has been living it large, making two appearances for Arsenal this season, scoring twice, while he has been on the bench a number of other times.
He was brought back down to earth on Friday, though, when he was shown a straight red card in the second half of England's 2-1 win over the USA.
Dowman was sent off in the 74th minute. The reason why is unconfirmed, though sources say it was for 'a little kick out when a player went past him' and was on the harsh side.
He set up former Manchester City forward Reigan Heskey to open the scoring in the first minute.

Tottenham starlet Luca Williams-Barnett was also on the scoresheet, with Ben Futcher's side seeing out victory at the Marbella Football Centre in Spain despite the one man disadvantage.
England will play their final match of the international break on Monday, when they take on Belgium. It is unclear if Dowman will be involved.
The midfielder hasn't yet played at a higher international level than the Under-19s, despite some fans calling for him to be fast-tracked to the first team.
Under-21 manager Lee Carsley has said he hopes to work with Dowman, too, before that happens.
He said last week: 'It's important that players develop at their own pace. Max is an outstanding talent, the timing and the balance of when he comes to the U21s is inevitable.
'He's going to the U21s because of his talent, but we have to make sure we do that at the right time. We have to be patient and make sure that ultimately we want them to play for the senior team for a prolonged period.
'So we have to make sure that we get the time right with that. We had a similar issue a few years ago with Ethan Nwaneri.
'He was early and he made his debut and he's done really well and there's that tendency to push him on quickly.'
