64.7% of Poles believe that the political conflict between Donald Tusk’s government and President Karol Nawrocki is hindering an effective response to security threats.
These are the results of a SW Research poll commissioned by Onet.
The opposite view is held by 18.5% of respondents, while another 16.8% were undecided. The results were similar among men and women, as well as across different age groups.
Poles aged 50 and older pay the most attention to this issue—among them, 71.6% believe that the conflict between the president and the government hinders an effective response to security challenges.

The Polish Ministry of National Defense is working on a draft law on the country’s defense readiness. The document aims to streamline the defense management system, improve coordination between the Armed Forces and government agencies and internal security services, and accelerate preparatory actions in the event of a threat.
