Robert Lewandowski delivered a hat-trick as Poland defeated Romania 6-0 in the Nations League, marking his seventh international goal. Tottenham defender Radu Dragusin was sent off in the 22nd minute, leaving Romania dismantled. Lewandowski opened the scoring from the penalty spot and doubled the lead early in the second half. An own goal and strikes from Piotr Zielinski and Jan Bednarek followed before 38-year-old Lewandowski completed his seventh international hat-trick. Poland are third in Group B4, while Romania stay fourth. Gheorghe Hagi, in his second spell in charge, became the first Romania manager to lose his first three competitive matches. In the same group, there were emotional scenes as Edin Dzeko retired from international football following Bosnia-Herzegovina’s 1-1 draw at home to Sweden. The ex-Manchester City forward, 40, found the net late in the first half but the goal was disallowed as the ball went out of play in the build-up. Fireworks went off after 11 minutes to celebrate the number 11 on his 152nd international appearance, and he was given a standing ovation when he was substituted after 62 minutes in Zenica. The celebrations continued after the match with an official ceremony, a guard of honour and a drone show displaying messages of thanks to Dzeko, who was showered with soft toys from the crowd during a lap of honour. Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres put Belgium in front before Kerim Alajbegovic equalised for Bosnia-Herzegovina. Kevin de Bruyne scored twice as Belgium beat Turkey 3-0 to claim their first Nations League win of the campaign. The 35-year-old Napoli midfielder scored a goal in each half before Romelu Lukaku completed the scoring.
