Ghanaian female referee Portia Oppong has been named as Reserve Assistant Referee for the 1st leg of the 2026 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Cote d'Ivoire and Mauritania.
Portia, who is one of Africa's fastest-growing female referees, will be part of the officiating team for the clash in Abidjan.
Egypt's Khaled Elsayed Ali Mohamed Elewa will be the Centre Referee, assisted by compatriots Mohamed Ahmed Mostafa Ahmed Elazazzy (Assistant Referee II) and Hany Khairy Mohammed Ahmed (Assistant Referee III).
Ibrahim ElSayed Mohammed Mahgoud (Egypt) will serve as Timekeeper, while Dramane Dante from Mali will act as Match Commissioner.
The first leg encounter will take place at the Agora de Port-Bouet in Abidjan on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 16H00 GMT.
