Sean Combs has been moved into the Special Housing Unit at FCI Fort Dix as officials investigate allegations of contraband access and unusually comfortable perks. Sources revealed Combs was moved there following a fight with another inmate in July, and the alleged perks continue in the general population.
NBC News reported allegations of cooking, cleaning, massage, and access to items not allowed, including a cellphone used for Instagram and sexually explicit photos. The reporting claimed inmates provided Combs with premium liquor, paid through commissary accounts, and used a jailbroken tablet. A representative for Combs stated the media was turning ‘ordinary prison life’ into spectacle and insisted he continues serving his sentence within the rules.
This is not Combs’ first stint in solitary confinement. He was placed there in July after a fight with another inmate and was released from solitary several weeks later. Sources told NBC that once he returned to the general population, the alleged perks resumed.
The Bureau of Prisons has not publicly confirmed specific claims against him, citing privacy and security rules, though inmates are prohibited from possessing cellphones and can face discipline for contraband violations.
