Ghana Police Reschedules TRAFFITECH-GH Implementation

The Ghana Police Service has rescheduled the full implementation of the TRAFFUTECH-GH traffic law enforcement programme, originally slated for October 1, to November 1, 2026. The rescheduling is designed to facilitate increased public awareness and education on the programme’s operational aspects, including the detection of traffic offences and the issuance of Electronic Notices of Violation (ENV). The MTTD stated the move allows for more extensive public outreach, emphasizing traffic law compliance and the programme’s role in improving road safety through enhanced enforcement. The Service urges motorists, drivers, and vehicle owners to familiarize themselves with the programme prior to its launch.
