Opoku Ware School, who had begun the competition as early leaders, experienced a significant setback in Round Two, as Asanteman SHS demonstrated remarkable control, securing a perfect 10 out of 10 in the Problem of the Day. This initial dominance quickly shifted as Asanteman SHS then began to mount a significant lead, achieving 30 points – a considerable advantage over Bishop Herman College, who held a 27-point lead and Opoku Ware, who trailed at 21 points.

With the two schools tied, a tie-break was initiated to determine the champion. Bishop Herman College maintained their composure, answering correctly, which broke Asanteman’s hearts and secured their place in the quarter-finals. For Opoku Ware, the disappointment was palpable, as their promising start failed to translate into qualification for the quarter-finals.
