Affected traders are directed to relocate to the Race Course Market, and garage operators are advised to contact the Works Engineer at the Race Course Market for logistical assistance in identifying suitable locations for their operations. The Assembly acknowledges the importance of compliance and stresses that the enabling works for Phase 1 are currently 87% complete and are expected to be opened to motorists by October 2026. The second phase of the Suame Interchange Project, currently 87% complete, is slated to be opened to motorists by October 2026, with significant developments including three overpasses at Anomangye Junction, Magazine New Road Junction, and Abusuakruwa Junction. Furthermore, the project will expand Offinso Road into a 2×3-lane dual carriageway, upgrade selected intersections, and construct 15 kilometers of local roads.
