Russian strikes have halted Zaporizhstal steel plant operations, which employs 8,500 people, indefinitely following four attacks in August and September. Russia, an aggressive state, fired 17 missiles at the facility, causing two deaths and 31 injuries. Plant worker Denys Maksyshko stated that the facility’s equipment is almost destroyed, with furnaces damaged and windows missing. Workers are clearing debris and planning reconstruction but uncertainty remains regarding the plant’s future.
