Police have rescheduled the full implementation of TraffITECH-GH from October 1 to November 1, 2026. Police state the delay will allow for increased public education on the programme. Motorists are urged to familiarize themselves with the system. The Police Service stated the additional month will allow for more extensive public awareness and education on the programme before its full rollout. The Programme, implemented through the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD), will include detection of traffic offences, issuing of Electronic Notices of Violation (ENV), and enhanced public awareness campaigns.
