The police of the first arrondissement of Parakou have arrested a man wanted for several months. According to Fraternité, he is suspected of killing his partner on the night of April 30, 2026, when she was in the middle of the street. She was severely injured and evacuated to the Military Hospitals of Parakou for first aid. Unfortunately, three days after the attack, she died despite her medical care. The man’s spouse, the main suspect in this tragedy, was actively sought without success. But the tenacity and persistence of the police forces managed to bring him to the scene.
