Director of Communications of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has criticised the demolition of the La Beach. He expressed the view that this government has created more unemployment in just 2 years than any government did in four years. His comments follow the demolition of the La Beach. The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) justified the removal of unauthorized occupants from the beachfront adjoining the Labadi Beach Hotel and La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, saying the action was necessary to protect workers’ investments.
