Excitement for a final Migos album has bubbled up in recent times, especially knowing how whatever issues existed between Quavo and Offset have simmered down. It’s still rather unclear what exactly caused the rift between the two, especially since Offset embarked on a solo career while Quavo and Takeoff debuted themselves as a duo after Culture III.
But tragedy has a way of bringing things into perspective, and Quavo recently revealed how the death of Takeoff “eased” things between himself and Offset.
“It threw out all the things that I was upset about or that we had friction about,"” he told Complex, noting that he can only speak from his own perspective. ” “It was enough for me to say, alright, cool. Whatever you’re going through, I’ll go through with you.”
Quavo added that the title of his forthcoming album, QRÖMELIFE, reflected the difficulty of grieving Takeoff. “Me losing my brother, it can’t get no tougher than that,” he said.
