Manchester City’s owners artificially inflated club commercial revenue by £830 million ($1.08 bn) between 2009 and 2018, according to the Independent Commission’s findings during the Premier League hearing into 115 charges for serious financial breaches. The Abu Dhabi-owned club were found guilty of all charges, with Premier League CEO Richard Masters stating City "systematically broke Premier League rules for nearly a decade."
